It is a pleasure to announce that our new glider Axis Polaris has been finished and is awaiting certification at the end of January 2012.
The idea behind Axis Polaris was to develop a new paraglider with the performance of a EN-D glider, that would fit within EN-C certification.
To achieve such characteristics, Axis Team used experience and knowledge gained from Axis Mercury II development. When it comes to handling, the glider stands between Axis Vega III and Axis Venus III.
Axis Polaris is a three-liner with 65 cells and 6,45 aspect ratio. This glider has an excellent glide ratio over 10,5.
