PHILOSOPHYDESIGNCOMPETITIONSTESTING
PHILOSOPHYOur overall approach and philosophy is to build high performance gliders without sacrificing safety or handling characteristics while maintaining our historic precision handling and feedback levels. We will not compromise on safety, ease of handling or control feedback prerequisites. Our aim is to build gliders which are safer than those of our competitors while offering better performance and a constantly improving safety record.
DESIGNWith these goals in mind we develop each class of glider based on the knowledge derived from numerous prototypes while concurrently using the most up to date materials/technologies available on the market.
The development of Axis prototypes and concepts is supported by the use of the latests CAD aplications developed for paragliding. This enables us to rapidly implement new developments and assists in improving safety and efficiency.
Our range of gliders and accesories are built from the most up to date and best materials, including Porcher Sport, Domenica Textile, Rosenberger Tauverk (Liros) and Cousin Trestec lines, Guth and Wolf webbings, and others.
COMPETITIONSOur main focus is the development of superior competition gliders. At the same time we are constantly working on an ever improving infrastructure which fully supports the pilots flying them. All knowledge acquired from competition glider-concepts is built into our serial-certified gliders. We believe this is our key to the successfull range of Axis gliders already on the market.
TESTINGOne of the most important aspects of Axis development process is our test pilots who are essential to final trimming and tuning of all gliders. Our experienced test pilots play a key role in the certification process.
We hope you will be happy and satisfied with Axis products and have many memorable moments flying them. Your Axis Paragliding team
